Started with a shot of army men in front of another picture I'd taken that was displayed on my monitor. On top of the fence in the image I balanced a card-sized plastic magnifying glass, which made the army man in the center bigger, as well as distorting the background. For editing I cropped, made the image greyscale and then adjusted contrast and brightness.

Interesting composition! I really like the work put into this shot. Unfortunatly, war is in no way surreal, especially today. This could go very well for a good study in DOF and composition. nice work! 5

Nice idea and execution. Do you have two images shot, or a window in another? Interesting technique. Nevertheless the idea flies well.
