Nice effort. Too dark overall. You have some great stuff in your portfolio. |

Dear photographer,
We all suck, and you less than some. I like the dark dark blacks in contrast with the whites. I don't like the tracks going through the little village of cabins. |

I like the composition, but to me, the clouds on the right have a bit of grain and the buildings seem to be too dark. |

Maybe not the best title. The shadow areas have not detail, but I would not say it sucks. |

Interesting composition. You've lost your low zones though (too dark)...

This doesn't suck! It was a great idea, but this seems a bit dark to me, thats all. The scene itself is very nice. I'd go back and try it again, watch for over exposure in the clouds/sky. |

This is an interesting image. I like the depth created by the cabins in front of that majestic tree. Nice range of tone in clouds and snow. Good job emulating the technique of AA, he was his own as each photo is. Good luck... |

Nothing sucks about this photo, I really like it. Your scoring would be higher without that title, but I bet your comments are certainly more. :) |

The photo is pretty good, but I don't think Ansel had the low self esteem thing. ;-) Recommendation: Let the voters decide if you suck. ;-) |

IMO.: you would need More tonal range in the shadows of log buildings
the tree has been cut off .. which makes it look poorly framed |

The only thing that sucks about your photo is the title. Have some confidence! 8 |

This does not suck!!!!
I can take the apology to Ansel Adams, but please don' t don't put negative thoughts into voters' minds. You do yourself a disservice. |

Your title sure sucks. Show a little confidence. Your image is far from being bad. I'm not sure about your composition and your post processing has left the darker areas too dark but you're zeroing in on an excellent shot. It's a good choice of subject and location and that's more than half the battle won. |

He doesn't mind the attempt, indeed he's honored, but he DOES mind that the damned tree is smack dab in the middle... (grin) |
