 Taken in harsh midday light. Converted to B&W with a desat adjustment layer. No dodging or burning done. The clouds contrast was enhanced by using a layer with a high pass filter and set to overlay. Slight curves adjustment to entire photo.

I like the composition of the bare wood in the foreground. Perhaps, if anything, a little dodging of the highlights of the wood where it appears to cross the tree line would make it stand away from the background a bit more.
