much better! saw one called 'virginal blossom' or similar - yours has much better definition, nicer texture of the petal.

This was my #1 pick for the challenge... Great job. I love the true white that you managed to acheive on both the foreground and the background. The gentile curves and crisp focus are absolutaly delightfull to look at. Thanks for sharring this great shot with us and good luck in the challenge.

Throw me off the island, but I would have liked to see the shadows just a little darker and more texture in the surfaces. Still, it's very elegant, very stylish.

This is a great macro picture, with great texture, light and composition.... I miss the color though ... disaturated misses strengh

i really, really hate saying this, but i think you wrecked it by desatting it. the colors in this image combined with the textures would have placed this much, much higher. i hope i'm wrong. good luck!
