 Layed out the trash can on seamless white drop paper, literally crumpled and threw a bunch of lined paper at it.

Levels and Curves to make it as white as possible without losing some critical shadow detail. Sharpened a little.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I enjoyed this one. Tried hard to push it without the sense that hilites were blown, but apparently a number of people felt I went too far with it. :-)

Very Nice! Great composition and solid lighting...

This is one of my faves in the challenge, for two reasons. First, it's a great photo and really works the challenge right. Second, I have severe writer's block!!! I needed commisteration :)

great concept, well lit. the highlights ALMOST seem blown on some of the paper, while the composition helps to tell a story that's immediately recognizable. nicely done. -8-

Great idea. The photo needs something though - I'm not sure what - maybe a little more contrast? The paper looks a little fuzzy on my screen (or maybe it's my eyes)
