The rose with water droplets is very intriguing. I wish you had filled the frame with the flower and not bothered with the white background.

Very good separation of subject and background. Nice soft lighting that is not overdone nor underexposed. I also find the composition is not stagnant.

If cropped just above the crease in the large petal, a small area of shadow accentuates the light blueness of all the larger petals, while supporting the lightness of the tighter bud area. Lovely picture.

Challenge: 10 I like the subtle color in the center of the rose giving a gradient effect
Technical: 10 Very well shot sharp, tonal range is excellent
Composition: I like how you eliminated portion of the rose to give a different take on the beauty
Appeal: 10 very must like it

well done! Many of the photos I have seen thus far have backgrounds that are not truly white, which is what I expected from this challenge. I wanted to see backgrounds that were obviously white, not greys. My only distraction is the blur from what may be a petal at the top left....too bad for basic editing in this challenge. My only other issue with the shot is the shadows in the bottom left. It would have been nice to have this area darker and still keep the brightness of the flower. I like flowers, I like the light on white here. 7

I realize the challenge reflects light on white, but for this photo, it (the full white bg)seems a bit stark in contrast. However, It's a great composition and the water droplets caught just the right amount of light to keep it natural.

Wow. Nice detail. I like the soft yellow tone. Excellent lighting. I'd have cropped about 10px off the bottom, to get rif of that little white space between the parts of the petal that touch the border. 9.

I like it. Maybe too much white up top. I would crop a little off the top and maybe bring the center of the rose completely into the picture. Bumping you to a 8
