 I feel that I will get voted down because my subject is firstly not light enough in the sense of luminescence. Secondly, I think people will vote this down because it is not a "light" color in terms of hue. I however am pleased with the result and it was a fun experimentation.

to me this is more of a black and white than a light color on white background as the challenge suggested.

Delightful, beautiful simplicity. Love the negative space. Love the moisture on the apple. Love the crop. I wonder if a softer light source would have been better. The sharper shadows make it look a bit harsh. My choice for a top 10 finish.

the rule of 1/2 would have helped a little. just the apple would have been nice, but where's the light colours?
