Exif says: Focus status=bad...... I disagree. :)
One of my mum's dolls that she has positioned around the house. Moved it to a better background and shot it from all angles. Three out of three choose this one as favourite from 24, so I entered it. It was one of those that made me stop when rapidly checking them out in Irfanview.
No cropping, just used the tele-setting on a tripod and framed it in the camera.
Some other photo's are very nice as well, I am particularly happy with the lighting. Will put some up on pbase after the challenge.

Post processing: manual levels, resampled, unsharp mask, save for the web.

Lighting: one window with natural light over my right shoulder, a yellow lamp to my left, a white lamp above me and tubes behind me. Hardly any shadows and a nice color cast on the hair.

Camera: bracketed, this one is -2/3EV. No flash, flash should never be used if the subject isn't in motion. If you wonder if the whitebalance is a bit too warm, check the white of the eyes. Nuff said.

Of course, this is a doll made by somebody else. If you like it, whisper a comment to the maker. Unfortunately I couldn't find a tag else I would have shared the info. I don't think it is art, it is a mass produced piece of Kitsch and just as common as kitchen blender, car or patented coca cola bottle.

Pretty doll! I like the contrast between the reds and the greens.. Overall, I would have like to have seen more action, something to generate more interest it the photo. As it stands now it's a picture of a doll.. it seems like there should be something more there. 6 for a good picture which meets the challenge.

She is really cute, but not as cute as the other lady in green. Love those beautiful eyes of hers. Lovely red hair too! Your background is a good choice of color also. I'm so glad to see that there is no shadow against the background!

Pretty nice. Was that a white background? If so, your white balance is out of whack. I need to figure this out myself... I think I need different bulbs or something.

I've got to say that this is a beautifully done shot. The lighting and focus are wonderful. I just hate photos of dolls, figurines, toys, etc. Yes, it's definitely a personal issue. But - I AM rating this much higher than I would normally rate such a shot because I think you did it so well.

She looks like she's had a little too much to drink. Well, it is St Patty's day.
Nice and sharp. Good light.
