Challenge: Light On White (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Kodak DX6490
Location: home
Date: Feb 23, 2005
Aperture: f8.0
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/750
Galleries: Still Life
Date Uploaded: Feb 23, 2005

To the entire image, I cropped, fade corrected, increased the grey world color balance and used the USM. I set the items on foam board and used two Britek studio strobes and one tungsten table lamp to attempt to decrease the shadows. It's probably a silly subject, but I've seen so many eggs, flowers and feathers that I wanted to try something different.

you've got a good style that I think may earn you ribbons soon if you keep at it.

This is one of my favorites of this challenge. Great composition, nice and sharp. Only small complaint is the brushes are blown out, but still love it and giving it a 10

Very cool picture! But then it comes to me that the dental doesn't add anything to the pic. It seems out of place! Maybe if u had re-arrenged it somewhere else in the picture, or even shot it without the floss!

Only floss the ones you want to keep. A quote from my dental hygienist (ie rich) daughter. Good luck.

Nice one, cleana nd crisp. Losing the bristles against BG upper left hurts a little, ditto the left side of the floss container.
