I am glad this challenge is over. I have received so many nice comments on this photo. I really like it and think it was one of the best, but I didn’t stick to the letter of the challenge and the low votes show that. I didn’t join DPC to win challenges, I joined to step my up my game and I will. Thanks to every one for your comments and votes and a big thank you to the person who selected this photo as one of their favorites, my first.
155/427, I'll take it,
John Todd

Wow, very nice. I get a sense of cold and warm at the same time. |

This breaks from the challenge description in a most interesting way. Great composition. (7) |

nice composition...like the idea, title and you have a good DOF here....but the background supposed to be completely white...I have to deduct 2 points. but you could of gotten an eight in another challenge.....(6) |

Nice. A refreshing breath of non-whiteness, but you still managed to meet the challenge and not overexpose the golf ball. |

It's a white foreground, not a white background! If only u have cropped it differently. |

while there is a light subject on a white background, I don't feel that this shot meets the challenge due to the landscape which covers half the background. |
