 Post: brightness/contrast, convert to grayscale, crop.

I had to pick between TONS of images. I think this one is emotional and powerful. I wish I didn't have to crop it so tight...but I did because of the distracting elements on the right side of the photo. We'll see how people like it!

Concept is okay but in the 70's the hair would have been much longer with this kind of sign, lighting on his face seems too uneven.

I only wish my first association was 1970s... but it did come across eventually.
I like the b/w choice here, and the facial expression of the protester.
