Went to Bondi Beach Pavillion where I knew that men played various games there during the day. On arriving there were about 8 groups all involved in various games, chess, cards, dominos, etc. I asked the 1st group I came to for permission to photog. and they replied "sure". Every other group, when approached, protested vehemently....go figure!
Slight exposure, contrast & sat settings in camera raw.
PS-CS: Levels, Desat, Hue/Sat-Colourize, USM & resize.
Might get hammered for the blank wall, but I feel the rest of the composition carries it. Tried cropping it out, but without the opponents hand it wasn't the same feel. My 1st candid submission, should be interesting. |

| There appear to be a couple of blobs at the top left of the frame which might have been removed. Other than that, great sharpness and texture. |
