Mike,
This is terrific. I see some commentators reminded you that "Lucy" and "Sgt Pepper" were actually 60's. Nonsense! Those of us who were there don't actually remember the 60's at all; we remember 1958 or '59, and then nothing much until the early 70's. So Sgt Pepper seems very 70's to us. Ergo you were right. Plus your photo is VERY 1970's. Congratulations on a good result.

Your composition is exceptional, in that it's both attractive and a little haunting, all while really conjuring up that time. To be honest, your content wasn't as captivating of some other photos here, but your look is still vastly superior. I'm impressed.

Beatles broke up in 1969.
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is an album by the British band The Beatles. It is often called one of the most influential rock albums of all time by prominent critics and publications, including Rolling Stone. It was recorded by The Beatles over a 129-day period beginning on December 6, 1966. The album was released on June 1, 1967 in the United Kingdom and on June 2, 1967 in the United States.

Great composition. Fresh idea. Looks more like helter skelter though. And "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" came out in 1967.

Sgt. Pepper was pre-70's I believe....1967 to be exact. While technically the picture is wonderful, I don't think it's appropriate for this challenge. I offer you a 5.

I like it but all the elements seem more of a fit to the 60's. Well done composition and effects though.

I love her look and the over saturation. I'd like it a lot more without the album in the back..but I'm one of those people who can't stand literalisms. Overall I'm feelin' it so I'm laying down an 7.
