Dan,
Fabulous photo that speaks to the heart and mind. I for one wished it had done better... in every respect of the word 'photography' this one takes the gold medal. Well done, I'm watching and learning.. |

impossible to not appreciate this photo. It is great both in technical aspects and composition. I like how all the subjects are clear and bright and how the lighting hides the surrounding area. it is sad but art !

| ok, it has all the patriotic elements and i understand the picture, but lighting should have been better, maybe making it more intimate, private...more sad. |

| Decent shot but a little too dark IMO. I feel it fits the challenge well. I do feel however that this looks staged a more candid feel would ahve done better for me. I also would like to have seen so soldier in the picture a little closser. .. a Dear Mrs. Doe .. your son private .... would have realy brought some tears to the eyeys. Nice job. |

| Good lighting and composition. Cloning out the light areas just above her head would really help a distraction |
