 I took my mothers italian oil and vinegar and poured it into a wine glass. I figured since vinegar comes from grapes I could use the grapes to kind of compliment the subject. The wine glass all by itself was too boring.

Adjusted white balance and EV exposure on high setting. I wanted a light crisp shot. Cloned and smudged a few imperfections on the wall. Filtered and sharpened through Neat Image.

This is definately defined as separation - I love how the oil and vinegar break up the colors in the pic.

I guess your right vince, this is very clear and sharp, Im a very negative critic....I just want her to know what she did wrong. Im lucky if I even go near a 5 in a challenge? who am I kiddin?

This is a very tastefull and interesting use of a common theme in this challenge. I love the way you use the grapes and plater to enhance the image. You have definately steped this them up a notch. I would liked to have seen a little more light on the grapes. I also don't particularly like the separation beteen table and wall. Overall this is a great shot keep up the nice work.

Cool idea. However, I think the extras in the photo are distracting rather than helpful. I'm not sure about the grape theme. I also would have used a glass w/o a rim on the top because it minimizes the effect of the layers. Finally, there's a hot spot on the glass from something, probably an artificial light over your left shoulder.

Very nice set up, but the hot-spot on the glass rim is bothersome and the left side of the table cloth is blown out a bit. I'm no expert, but since this is advanced editing, one thing to try is the dodge/burn tool, or a faster shutter. The problem is with the dark grapes, exposure may be a problem. Good job though.

You've created a nice composure yet the lighting was a bit too harsh... some post processing would have helped along with a sharper focus on the glass, oil & vinegar.

clear..too bad this doesnt have a nice border. With these still life pictures, you really need a border. very average image.

this would have been better if olives were used instead of grapes (I know that the grapes are not real but I think that you get the point)
