Last minute idea pulled this one I was going for an effect that would show different colors but also show what was used for the different colors.

I feel that this photo fits the challenge pretty well. I do feel however that your DOF was a bit too narrow. I would have liked this better if the M&Ms in the fore ground had been in focus as well. The lighting and colors are enjoyable however.

Good idea and I like the DOF but the photo seems a bit grainy and I don't like the surface that they are set on.

your focal point is the only non-blurry part of the image. I don't know if you planned this or not, but it just doesn't look right.

Cool idea and shot, I love shots with short DOF but in this case I can´t help but wonder if the shot wouldn´t have worked better if the focus had been on the front 2 m&m´s, the yellow and red one instead of the ones that are 5 rows back. Just to be clear I like this shot, I hope you do well.

I actually wish you ahd a little further depth of field. Also I wish the closest M's to the cam were the ones you had focused on. Just small preferences. Nice shot.
