Feeder fish for my predatory fish that made a short unscheduled stop before their "visit" to their new home/final resting place. Don't know where I came up with the idea. I'm pretty happy with the result.

*lol* Isn't it great when shots do better than you expect? This is just very creative and cute. Nicely executed. I would've cropped a bit lower on top and not showed the water line, but I guess you were trying not to cut the fish off. I'm also not crazy about the border.
This is a tough subject to light. Water, glass, shiny fish... not a good combination. You did fairly well although a little more even lighting would be nice - it would make the fish more visible and help with the colors.
You probably needed a faster shutter and higher f# as well. I think it would help with the focus and overall quality.
Poor fishys. I saw an awesome shot once of a fish eating a smaller fish. Have you ever tried shooting that? Sounds quite impossible to me, but I'm always happy to make impossible requests of other photographers :)

Too, too, too, too funny. I really like how the one on the bottom is looking "at me." Great crop, maybe a bit too bright on the left, though.

Poor little guys! I hope they only stayed in this carafe for a few moments.... They are so crowded and uncomfortable looking!

oh my, I hope you actually have a tank to keep these fish safe after taking the picture. It's a bit ... too full, honestly. Bah, I wish I didn't know this much about fish, but I do, and I have mixed feelings about this photo. I wish I could know that all of the fish are alive and well.

this is so cool! altho i feel sorry for the fishes, this is a startling and interesting image. I think the only think i would change is more light on the right side and increased DOF

I don't know what to think. Is this a picture of goldfish inside the pot, or did you really cram all those fish in there?

love it

Wow, this is so funny!! Those fish even look as if they have worried expressions on their faces. Congratulations on a wonderful shot.

I LOVE IT! :)

LOL, very creative. I would have lit the right side a little more however. Good one anyway.

Really creative idea, super work.

funny! I hate the border. I would have filled the coffee pot and narrowed the cropping a bit more.

I think I'd like to see those fish more saturated. 7

Was this the beginning of fish soup? I hope not. Good idea
