Greetings from the Critique Club:

Initial Impression:
Wow. A clever idea for meeting the "From Above" requirements!

Challenge:
Meets it perfectly.

Composition:
I can't think of anything that you could have done to improve this composition, other than move all that ice out of the way!
Perhaps rotating picture so that the reflection of the boat to more closely follows the main diagonal... though I really like it the way it is. The colours of the sunset are nicely reflected in the water, and the detail on the boat and the ice is wonderful.

Technical:
Everything is nicely in focus and very sharp.

Overall: Fits the challenge in an interesting and beautiful way. Great job! Sorry I can't think of anything to criticise, but it really is a great photo!

Lovely shot, Indy. I like it very much. The boat makes a nice diagonal across the frame, and the reflections are great!

I took this as the sun was setting off the Stockholm archipelago. There was actually a lot more ice in the water, but I looked for a clear spot so that the boat would be visible. I would have placed the large piece of ice off center if possible, but it doesn't bother me too much since it is at an opposing diagonal to the boat. I was happy to get the reflection in focus since it was handheld with a slow shutter speed and two VERY cold hands.

Nice angle. It would be nice if the ice and the reflex interact with each other in the composition.

Good sky - good boat too, though for me you would have had more impact with a focus on the ice, rather than the reflections to meet the challenge more exactly. Interesting shot though.

I really like this shot except for that one piece of ice in the front center of the shot. You could have gotten around that in some way I am sure.
