This being the Lenten season, my guess is that it's only a temporary condition. |

Groan-inducingly bad pun, and the eyes are terribly cheesy, I should hate everything about this photo.
But, as much as I hate to admit it, it's really well composed and taken. Maybe a bit more light needed on Mr. Steak, otherwise this is great! |

Ah, what a fantastic idea. Church and state, what a great concept for this challenge. Your twist on the idea, while creative and clever, does not succeed as well as if there had been a representation of 'state' within this picture. The picture is technically very good; I will offer you a 7 for creativity. |

This is the first one that's inspired me to comment. This really shouldn't be as funny as it is, but a stupid pun gets me every time. You might have tried a little fill flash to better light the face of the steak. |

I don't think that the church being out of focus helped this shot any.. I also realy don't like the eyes on the rubber steak. I would have preferred a crisp shot with a real state... i mean steak.. In a weird was I must a agree however this does fit the challenge. But I'm not sure if te foreighn voters will get it. |

Great colors and a great play on a theme that I knew would be used a lot... I'll be curious to see which camera you used, The lighting was quite good so I'm sure that you would have been able to use the maximum apeture available to you to get a deep DOF. The angle needed to get a this composure would mandate the placement of the steak, so I'm wondering if the focus on the church could have been improved any? (Likely not) although the manual on mine says that it will focus sharply all the way to infinity. This shot inspires me to test that with mine as it would have really knocked off my socks with a sharp focus on the church! |

LMAO! What a hoot! This reminds me of the character Gilda Radner used to play on SNL when she did a news commentary (totally misunderstanding the issue) and then say "Never Mind." |
