COMPOSITION
I think it is interesting how this has been done to look like a giant green eye. It "flows" diagonally through the shot, and that gives the shot a lot of motion. I think it needs to be cropped closer on the top though as it feels crowded at the bottom because it is "running" out of the frame.

TECHNIQUE
The color in this is very eye catching. I am assuming this is a child going down a slide, though it looks more horizontal than vertical. The slide seems to be in focus, but I think it may have been more effective if the child wasn't quite so grainy.

OVERALL EFFECT
This is an interesting abstract, but I think the high level of contrast almost makes it difficult to look at. I found myself staring at the lower side of the "eye" where it is almost a straight line. Then I found that my eyes were drawn to the white areas, where there was nothing.

Best to you in future challenges.

ok. this is awesome. how did you get the high key effect of the white border? i'd love to know. I guess its just naturally exposed with the sunlight. The purplish tint at the top of the end of the slide bothers me slightly and I would have dropped the saturation on magenta to get rid of it. Also, it would be good to go back and get rid of the scratch on the left after the contest (when you're allowed), it's a shame we can't spot edit. Still, as it is, it is one of my favorites this week. great job.

Really like the way you've captured this, but not sure it meets the Challenge
Color is good, idea is good and well executed.

Interesting view, but very hard to say looking up/down/sideways.... I'm not certain how you got this effect, but personally, I don't really care for it much. 5 Swash
