 a small vase filled with blue stones, various beaters and fondue skewers. taken in raw mode with a black light bulb and a yellow one on either side--and the overhead light on low to bring out highlights. converted to tiff using tungsten white balance to bring out the vibrant blue and yellow hues. (had experimented with converting in outdoor and cloudy settings but cloudy made it slightly too orange and outdoor was slightly too pink.)
then bumped up the red levels (+10) slightly in each of the shadows, mids and highlights to mimic the neat effect i saw in converting the file with outdoor WB. used a small flashlight to highlight the front of the vase.

I gave you a 7 at first for this photo, however upon looking at it more closely I see that you put a lot of thought and time in getting it right. I really like the subject as well as the brilliant lighting technique you have chosen. Excellent job and I'm gonna give you a 10 :)

This would look super hanging on the wall of a modern kitchen. I really like the bright and contrasting colors. Wonderful.

Nice shot. I like the color effects of the blue and yellow. The front does seem a bit underlit though. I might like to see it lit with a bit of soft white light from the front to see if it pulls more highlights off the metal peices. Would probably have to be quite diffused.

Interesting concept, I'd like to see the setup on this one. I love the colors but the subject seems a little dark. Good job.

Great colors. I like the idea a lot. I think it might be just a teeny bit underexposed on the utensils though. On the whole it is very well executed.

Hey I like your colours, but not the shadows on the wall.
Challenge is met here.
Visual impact is met, especially with the colors mixed together like this
