This is up there with Jacko's Kitty shot. The light shining through the ears is excellent.

would have been great with a solid black background. makes me think of close encounters. 4

looks like you used a slow shutter and the cat's head moved. i would also crop out the wooden (doorway?) to make the composition a bit tighter.
