| Nice whites and brightness on the flower. The backgorund distracts. If you can set your camera to a smaller f# the backgound would go out of focus. (Use a tripod if you do it this way. |

| Beautiful - no criticisms at all, unless it might be fractionally too contrast-y for my taste - but that really is fractionally. Love the effect of the DOF - gives real height to the shot. |

This is interesting! I do like the contrast of this soft pretty white Iris and the dried brown leaves beneath!
That said whilst I like the contrast I don't know that I find those leaves attractive.
Adding points for more evidently meeting the challenge (in terms of SHOWING it) than other flower images submitted, but scoring a little down because I find the dry brown leaves a bit unappealing.
