 I was headed home from working on a physical bridge shot, and I ran into this. When I realized that the church serves as a bridge for some people to this life and the life beyond it was a pretty easy choice for submission. It was a captivating moment that I hope everybody enjoys.

Very nice silhouette and I believe you have meet the challenge. I love the colors and the way to top blends into the border. However I do find such a large border distracting, half that size would of been better. Nice work and wish you well in the challenge. 7

Other then the oversized black border this is a lovely silhoette taken at one of the best times of the day. Overall a strong entry. 7

Very interesting picture. I like the harsh contrast between the black silhouette and the red-blue gradient. But what made you add this weird border? A thin white line would have been good, but this black one blends with the picture on the bottom and at the top. 8.

The artist's truth, "less is more" shines through this simple but profound photo. Great silhoulette, with the strongest bridge message in the whole challenge. I especially love the hint of the moon just above the steeple/cross, evoking a yearning for the heavens beyond this mortal life. Thanks for an extraordinary entry. 10

Nice imagery. I like the colors & light. Is that the moon just to the right of the cross? Distracting. Needs to be either stronger or removed.
