This picture is to show the Gateway Bridge over the Rio Grande River in Brownsville,TX. I included the Border Patrol car to show our borders are being patroled. I realize it is a mundane picture, but I wanted to show the width of the river and make people aware of its size.

Nice job of letting the picture tell a story. And I like the flowing curve of the river, it makes for a photo that's easy on the eyes.

Seems a bit cluttered.
Not really a point to interest for my eyes

The "real" bridge at this spot is the river. The Border Patrol attempts prevention of it being used for crossing. Nice inclusion of the Patrol vehicle.

There appear to be a number of 'blotches' in this picture - is your sensor dirty?

interesting...the truck is distracting, and doesnt add to the composition...maybe a crop would of helped your score

I am trying to find a single photogenic element in this photo. I imagine that in just the right light and from just the right angle those big round concrete piers could be interesting. Perhaps that's what you saw? The green roof and yellow striped deck are interesting, though possibly cluttered. The fact that the road and the river curve are interesting - but all the other stuff in the photo keep us from seeing this pre-development beauty (which would have been almost impossible to capture well). Finally, the lighting is too harsh for most digital cameras. The highlights in the Border Patrol car are all blown. And the shadows beneath the bridge are all black. Better luck next time.
