 This is a shot of me missing my children. Both joined the US Navy a few months ago. I'm so proud of them. This is the fourth generation of military service to our country covering WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the first Gulf War, and a bunch of skurmishes in between. This truly is a seperation - I miss them so much!

Shot using my camera's flash an a Vivitar DF200 external flash.

Great idea to try to capture the seperation felt when our soldiers are away on duty. This composition isn't very impactful though. Maybe a shot with the father writing a letter to the service person?
