 Sheba, a tiger at Pug-Mark Park in McKinney TX. She's obviously a diva. ;)

I had the most awesome opportunity to go see Sheba and two other tigers (Pooky and Rocky) in February of 2005. I went with a few other DPCers and we got SOOOO close to these cats. It was amazing. wow nice picture! beautiful tiger and that stare. sure makes u happy that u not what he is thinking of eating.

A very typical feline pose and stare. It makes you wonder what they are thinking about, and how far to stay back.

Beautiful colors! Vibrant and crisp. I love how she has here eyes open so wide, and is posing perfectly for her portrait.

She's beautiful and she knows it. What a nice self assured stance. Your detail is really clean on this one.

You've got yourself a nice crisp clean image of this beautiful tiger. The depth of field works well and the color is strong. Still though there is something missing from this shot. The expression is so stiff and straight forward it is almost as if it could be a statue. It might even help if he was looking to the right just to have him clearly engaged in observing something. Or maybe a tighter crop would help give it more 'wow' factor. Still a nice shot though, hope this helps.
