This reminds me of a shot from the Queens of the Stone Age video for the song "No One Knows." He does that too. Nice picture.

I am a Bass lover as well, on their web site bass.com it says.....
Bass Ale has been painted by Manet, loved by Napoleon and taken into the wild by Buffalo Bill....

I also think this is a very good portrate,

A very well done effect and entertaining indeed. The lighting is expert and the composition way above average and in a class all by itself. An image which can easily hang across the walls of any Hard Rock Cafe's. Bumping up.

nice composition and control over the lighting. my guess is that this is running hit-or-miss on the appeal factor, but that you really don't care--you have a killer image that captured exactly what you were after. good luck!

You have something with the tongue, don't you....
Well, as a self-obsessive-portrait, I prefer the one with the doll. But this one is just as good.
The lighting is wonderful, the details work very well for me, the crop is good.

Obviously it's YOUR portrait, so please don't misunderstand, but I think the tongue retracted and an intimate cheek-guitar contact would have conveyed "lover" better. This is a great shot, I just don't particularly enjoy the pose. 7
