 This very stylish pedestrian bridge reminiscent of a sailboat connects two parts of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography across Torrey Pines Road in La Jolla, California. The official name is "Scripps crossing". Designed by Frieder Seible (professor of structural engineering, UCSD). Built in 1993.

In post-processing rotated, desaturated blue and cyan to bring out the bridge - the sky was too bright and blue, fiddled with curves, brightness, contrast, then cropped, cleaned with Neat Image, saved for web.

Would love to correct the wide angle distortion, and to clone out the ugly lamp post obscuring the Scripps pier, but being bound by the basic editing rules have to leave it as is.
