A rather honest presentation with exceptional lighting. There may be a slight dispute about the post processing but this aside, the smile and the eyes give the image a good tingle. A very good study. Bumping up.

Nice portrait, you strike me as a friendly trusting soul (although somewhat mischievous). The whole photo has a softness (a bit of a washed out look) about it, which is ok, but the colar/throat area seems sharper than the balance of the photo, and thus draws undue attention. Great work except for that. |

I feel like I'm saying "this is the best portrait so far" for each entry in this challenge. But no - really - this is fantastic! I think you've done a perfect job with the b&w and I like how your eyes sparkle in the light. |
