I thought of this idea on a last minute decision.
The pain of losing a loved one. It probably won't get a good score but I liked it.

nice composition. I love shooting in cemeteries. I think they are peaceful. I like the comp here..although a background such as a creepy lookin colored sky, with the tombstones of your foreground would make an excellent composition. TRy it out for the cemetary challenge

I think this is a good idea for the pain challenge and the b/w is the right choice. I would have liked a closer shot on one of the older tombstones with the others in the background, instead of all of them in this landscape sort of shot. There's lots of interesting character to the old grave sites. I'm also not sure about the perspective here...kind of looking uphill. If you wanted that perspective, I would be at the bottom looking straighter up, not a bit angles or sideways as you have it here. Just my humble opinions! Good luck with your challenges, and I hope this was helpful.

I don't understand the pain. Sorry!

Might have been more effective with a more focused subject that conveys the pain to us.. a grieving relative, etc. Nice choice with B&W for this shot.

Nice picture, not original enough to place higher.

I think your meter was fooled, because the highights in this picture look burned out.
