I think I'm beginning to "appreciate" your sense esthetics. I particularly like the reflection on the knife.

I love this shot. Not only does the wrist look painfully disgusting, you have two other good elements. The crippled hand is a nice touch. The focal point is very strong, but the accent is equally eyecatching: the reflection in the blade. Very good job!

i like the reflection off the knife's steel. however, in that situation i guess you'd be grinding your teeth instead of yelling or screaming.

Love the reflection. Don't love the background, though. Composition is pretty good. And the cut looks pretty real, although there'd be a ton of blood pouring out your veins. Composition is good, too! Maybe a little oversharpened, though.

I think this is a really great photo - I love the expression/emotion of pain shown in the reflection on the knife. I don't care that it's obviously staged (unlike some who have complained about the staged photos in the discussion threads). It's an excellent peice of photography that fits the challenge, and the title is very cool. 10.
