This is my favorite of the flamingos. I think what makes this one better than the rest is the fact that this critter is actually pink (aside from technical aspects which you have nailed quite well). 7

Lovely shot, but the PS treatment lets it down... just a bit too much soft-focus of a very strange quality for my taste.

there is a blurring of the background where it meets the flamingo, perhaps intentional, but it pulls my attention away from the very good color and texture in the feathers

nice composition and subject choice for pink. A darker background may have really made the flamingo colors pop, but still beautiful as it is.

Very nicely framed, but the blur across the line of the head distacts from a very tight image.

Getting close in like this gives the image much more impact than when the whole bird is visible. A classy image.

Very nice shot! I know from experience that flamingos don't pose for you and its a lot of work to capture a shot like this. Great position of the beak and feathers. 8
