Everyone has done a picture like this at some time, I think... This was my 1:30-in-the-morning attempt when inspiration seized me. The wine glasses I used are NOT the right ones to use, and the background could have used some adjustment- but it was fun anyway.

I learned a bit about the difficulties of this kind of shot, and I think that this is the first case I've come across where a dSLR would be a *big* help. I might do this kind of setup again with different glasses and a better background (I like the textured/more organic stuff vs. the plain colors that seem to be popular), and try to also get in a shot with more normal lighting.

Some spot editing in PS (removed a bright red glare on the upside down glass); duplicated base (image) layer; applied Auto Levels to top layer; opacity on top reduced to 50%, with Linear Burn blending. And There You Have It.
