 last min. shot looked around for a sign and a intrusting way to take it....ya'll (might) know this trick.....i hope it does ok as ok as a last min. shot can do....

--->Due to comments i will now explain how this was done...
8" shutter tripod DSLR (its an old film SLR trick)
i zoomed my lense in centred it on the O in the sign and focused.....then depressed the shutter and after about 1sec. zoomed very slowly out then very slowly half way back in.......

it is the zoom out that really makes the affect but the zoom half way back also helps in this case to keep the main sign in focus.....(amap)....<---

thanx to all who comment and vote, your time is apericated...

oh yeah then just messed with levels in PS to have fn with the very gloomy color i had got and pop the sign even more

Ok, this image I think need a bit more of a clean look. I think the approach is right on the money but perhaps the context of a city street or a bus in the background would add to the feeling your going for. The motion blur makes the image but the bushes/trees are detracting from the subject. The trees have a strange color to them that appears to be accidental. Just my opinion.

Great job if it is legal. I am interested to read your notes on how you did this. It works for me. I like the ghostlike framing of the trees, and the saturated color is an effective touch. 9

u really like the idea and composure, but the colors and sharpness are displeasent to the eye. Im going to get some pain killers. Try better next time

This is a really neat picture. I love distortion so this image really caught my eye. I love the way you distorted your image, it made the picture more interesting. I also like the way it looks as though we are looking up to see the sign. The background also helps to give the image more personality. Nice work.
