Well, big step up from my HP 320, Huge thanx to Toocool for loaning me his Rebel. Had fun doing the shoot, although it was REALLY, really cold. Pretty obvious I think on the message of the photo, you know, the humorous surface, no power for the amp, and a bit deeper, no outlet for the whole teen "angst" thing. Thanks to my son Rance for modeling for the shot. Can't wait to get one of these high falutin' fancy dancy cameras of my own.

Dude, time for my two cents worth. Think ya shoulda cropped down quite a bit if this was really the angle ya liked the best. We know it's a street sign and didn't have to be hit over the head with it. I really liked the different angled shot that had much less of the no parkin' sign in it. I know the background wasn't as nice, but with the less cluttered foreground, a tighter crop and a sweet camera like mine, think ya woulda did a bit better. Hey, remind me to punch ya back Fokker!
TC
Edited because I forgot that Fokker is a proper like noun and is suposed to be capitalized...

Fun! Nice idea. Could have done with more contrast and less blown out sky, but I like htis one.

Good idea, but the image quality is letting you down here. To be specific the blown out sky behind him is really a killer here, along with a very odd look on the snow behind him, it seems textureless and has an odd colour.

Anyway, love his expression, it´s like he´s waiting for an electritian to fix his problem or something and it´s a good idea like I said before. Next time you could try to measure the exposure with the sky in mind and if it´s too bright, try taking it at another time of day to eliminate the blown out sky.

I find the overexposed sky on the left a little overpowering. Perhaps a tighter crop?

Interesting concept. I think a tighter crop, cloning out the red and white sign, and not such a blown out sky would do your idea more justice.

Watch your exposure! The sky is very blown out.

I like the concept, would have liked it even more if the white sign was somehow hidden, it takes away from the picture.

Nice. The best idea i've seen so far. Completely blocking the other sign and being a bit more careful with the processing i think would have really helped your cause.
