I think it would have been a perfect shot if the entire sign made it in the frame. Regardless, it gets a 7 from me.

Part of the sign is cut off. The similar colors are accentuated by the red part of the sign, though it may have been more noticeable if brighter.

Maybe a bit of fill flash to bring out the sign more, it is shaded now. nice comp.

This picture looks like its going in a good direction, but it would be more solid if all of the sign was in the picture, maybe even include some of its pole as well. You did really well with captureing the blue sky and the white clouds.

A good take on the Challenge. If it was mine, (and I wish it was) with that great sky, I'd probably try to find an angle where the "motel" is not visible. Or maybe include the whole word. Still a nice study in blues and meets the Challenge for sure!

Nice, simple composition and a bit of luck with blue sky and some clouds to add some balance and you have got a pretty damn good picture (10)

I wish the whole MOTEL sign was in the shot ... the blue is wonderful in this shot!

Could have been nicer. The sign has been chopped off at the bottom, and it's color is too similar to the sky to have a big impact.
