Challenge: Three (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Canon EOS-10D
Lens: Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro
Location: Santa Clara,CA
Date: Jan 27, 2005
Aperture: F11 @ 100mm
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/125s
Galleries: Still Life, Macro
Date Uploaded: Jan 27, 2005

Using my new Canon 100mm 2.8 macro. Kept a lower aperture to get the impression of the branches in the background. Was not as lucky to get all the three branches match the three droplets. It looked good to me, lets see what dpc voters feel ;)

Congratulations on your top 20 finish. A spartan approach that evokes a dull spectrum of beauty. Very well done!

Thanks for your comments. I have been trying some macro after I got my canon 100mm macro lens and this is one of the results... you might find some more water droplets shots in my portfolio soon :)

Interesting composition, but yet so simple. Well seen and nicely finished. ((8))

The centre droplet is missing a little sharpness.
I would have liked to see some color in this photograph.

You almost had the tress lined up with the drops... at least the left 2 are :)

this is GREAT! i really hope people stop to appreciate this, especially the trails to the edge. you have definitely added something new to droplet shooting (at least for me). this is one of my top picks! good luck!

Wow! My favorite shot thus far. Varying sized water drops a definate plus. I like how the smallest drop doesn't align with the 3rd tree trunk. Colors are great.

I tried so hard to do a shot like this indoors but I was unsuccessful. Great shot and good luck!
