I'm waiting for the "Too much sharpening" comments. I didn't use any, and I refuse to blur it because nature ain't blurry sometimes :P

I hope somebody gets the title. it's a line from Nothing Gold Can Stay, which is a Robert Frost poem. get it? Frost...Leaf...anyway. never mind ;)

This was taken quite by accident. I was attempting to get another shot of some trees i've been wanting to shoot for 2 years. it took 45 minutes of hiking and some trespassing and a torn pair of pants on barbed wire fence, and then I didn't even use the shot I was after. oh well, this one turned out kinda neat, so it's in. whaddeva :)

thanks for lookin'.

One of my favorite poems by Frost. Beautiful composition and detail. Nice unobstructive background that doesn't detract from the subject.

I recognized the poem right away and got the reference. Terrific I say, just splendid. Barbed wire is fantastic and so is trespassing. Weird to see you take photos without people. :)

good use of bokeh, even though the background is not contrasty enough, bokeh makes the subject come out very well.
