So was it supposed to be a 3, or a 16? I see both now. Did you intend both?

I love this! I see the number three right away. What a good example of a natural number.

I\'m sorry. I just don\'t see a number here. I had to come back and look at it from a distance. My wife had to point it out to me what she saw right a way. What, am I blind at my age already! What a differnce. Congratulations. If it weren't out of focus on the top and with that shado around it - a 10 for sure. .

I do not see the number you are trying to present ..

I'll go for a fine 16. I would have framed down to that. To much bareness as such.

I almost think more negative space would help this shot. There is some, but it almost gives it an off-balanced feeling i think.

Aha, I see it now, it's a "3". I had to look hard for it and it was right in front of my eyes all the time. Good shot! And not centering it was also a good idea.

Cool idea. Dunno if it would be capable with your camera, but it might have been cool if you could have gotten closer to the flower and filled more of the frame with it, especially the 3 part.

Very nice. I love the color. The 3 doesn't seem to be the part that is mostly in focus though. to me, it seems that the left side of the flower is in better focus than the right. I think I'd like to see this the other way around. I like the placement of the flower within the photo. nice angle and framing/cropping. The lighting is almost too harsh around the edges on the far right and bottom. an excelent naturally occuring number. very nice find. good luck in the challenge.

Do you think a little more light reflecting on the pansy might bring it out more?
When I looked at this I thought Of course, there's the 3. Why have I never noticed it in a pansy? Very good picure.

Great find! The lighting makes this photo a little too flat. It could be a little sharper also. Good framing.

This had so much potential in my opinion but it was left untapped....i definitely would have used a different color background...the white really doesn't compliment the colors in the pansy at all. i would rethink the cropping as well...there's far too much space ...i probably would have tried to crop in order to make the "3" the focal point...it really took me awhile to realize that "3" was the #. i think your focus could have been a bit sharper as well.

I love the lighting! Looks like a 16 to me???

Wow that's a GREAT number 3 there! But you should have absolutely zoomed in on it and cropped so it's more dominant in the picture. This could have been really good if you did that.

I'm not sure I like all of the negative space. Maybe a tighter crop? I think you met the challenge well though. Good work and good luck.

I don't really see the number. Am I missing it? Pretty picture though.

Who you callin a pansy? (I hope I'm the first person to make this joke). I see eights, so I'm going to say you met the challenge. I like the composition. The focus is a little bothersome. Overall nice work.

Nice find, pretty incredible to see a natural 16.

Good pic, too, though the shadows in the upper left don't agree with me too well.
