I would suggest a shot of them together maybe sitting with very good light so you don't have to worry about a flash. Since your beginning a studio is probably not available but those lights would help a lot with their fur color and with the cameras inability to focus sharply on them. It would also get rid of the cluttered background. You could hang a light colored sheet over the edge of the table for a backdrop and open windows and turn on lights.
Keep trying, you'll get it. |

| aw! Cute pups! Unfortunatly, way too much clutter and noise. Pic could be cropped and background blurred to focus more on the dogs. Red eye should be removed and clarity and sharpness upped. |

| Is out of focus. Bright eyes are distracting. It is hard to capture a dog though. This shot has potential. |

Please, don't use flash when photographing pets!!! It harms their eyes!
The idea is nice, but the background is too busy and the dogs too much out of focus. I don't find any conscious composition or lighting, and colours are pale a bit, too. Use of flash in pets eyes needs to be avoided! |

| cute shot. The clarity isn't the greatest, and the background is a bit busy, but it certianly is a dear picture to tuck away in a family album. |

Extremely out of focus and your background could sue some work...
You'll find that snapshots don't do well here, you need to think out what you're going to shoot before you pick up the camera. Don't just enter a picture that may fit the challenge after it's taken. |

| I don't like the glare in the eyes, and there's too many things laying around in the shot. A picture with just the dogs as main focus would be nice. |

| I am new, so I may be wrong. But, it looks like a flash was used which would produce the bright eyes and, the photo looks very blurry. Otherwise, beautiful dogs. |

This is out of focus. Don't use a flash straight on with dogs or you will get that awful 'hell-hound' look from the eyes.

| way out of focus, eyes are blown out, lots of clutter. might have been better to wait till they were sleeping or trying to get them set up with some sort of backdrop. |
