 This is a photo of The Confederation Bridge in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is the longest bridge over ice covered waters in the world. The cost of the project was 1.5 billion dollars and replaced 88 years of ferry service. It is approximately nine miles long and brings a new age of transportation to Atlantic Canada. It carries two lanes of traffic, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and takes approximately ten minutes to cross. It joins Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.

This is an awesome photo. The lines are great. The colors are beautiful. Leads the eye right off into the sunset. Simple composition, which is what I like personally. Also I can imagine how cold the wind must be. 10 from me.

Looks like the bridge to Prince Edward Island. I really like the way it fades into the horizon and the nice pink colours at the horizon. Good job. Jacko. 8

Really nice clear photo of this bridge, like the colors of the sky and the waters, sure is one long bridge, wouldn't want to travel it in a snow storm. . .

very nice color in this shot and the perspective is good as well :) The image needs a slight counter clockwise rotation to level the horizon... nice work :) - setzler

I like the feeling of this photo, almost like frozen time...and the blue of the wtaer and sky contrast nicely with the pink in the horizon...nice job.

Lovely effect. I really like your composition and effective use of lighting conditions. Morning/evening (whichever it is) is a great time of day for this. I would like to have seen a little more detail in the image. Maybe this is due to compression. Keep up the great work!

Wow at first glance I thought this was just water but when I looked at it closer I noticed that it was ice. Good job.

Nice pastel colors. The horizon is a bit tilted and I think if you cropped a bit on the bottom to crop out the rocks, a bit on the top and a bit on the right to make it more of a panoramic, it would be a more interesting composition.

I was too lazy to take this 1hour drive on the weekend. But it's a great bridge. I think there's a nicer angle on the other side of the bridge that shows more of the curved part, from NB anyway. Nice sky colors. Good icey cold feel!!
