mmm, looks good! I like the ambience of the light here, really makes the image come alive
05/12/2002 04:32:00 PM
A slight cropping problem it seems at the bottom.

what - no candle light? no rose? (jk) good clarity cookies seem a little bright, like the shadows........Got Milk? :) sorry couldn't help myself.

I love chocolate chip cookies!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One question -- the yellow reflection on the left, a nd the bluish-purple on the right, was that intentional, and if so, how did you do it? Looks cool.
05/12/2002 07:38:00 AM
Nice pic, on the verge of too bright.
05/11/2002 12:42:00 PM
I like your color choice with the plate and I think the shadows help the product pop off the screen. I think it would have been a nice touch to have a bite taken out of one of the cookies; too good to resist.
05/11/2002 12:36:00 PM
Now I have to run to the store....lol Good Job!
05/11/2002 02:12:00 AM
This is a good pic, but there is something about the coloring of the cookies. I wish I could tell you how to do it different.
05/10/2002 11:25:00 AM
Well done, nice photo
05/10/2002 10:21:00 AM
Please send yummy cookies to.....

I like that plate you found for this shot.
05/10/2002 08:06:00 AM
Very basic shot but still effective
05/09/2002 09:12:00 PM
Send a dozen and I'll raise your score three points! Very appealing colors. The layout could be more interesting, but maybe that's not necessary with this kind of product. The lighting, while it worked pretty well on the cookies and dough, made some problematic double shadows and overexposure on the placemat.

They look good!. Other than the tablecloth being a little too bright, it's a nice photo.
05/09/2002 08:15:00 AM
the brilliant colors save this one
05/09/2002 06:46:00 AM
Very nice layout, makes my tummy cry for some!
05/08/2002 06:57:00 PM
I'd almost have guessed that this was from a magazine. High points for a well executed pic.
05/08/2002 03:22:00 PM
somewhat washed out
05/08/2002 12:22:00 PM
nice shot and the plate is nicely set off from the tablecloth. the tablecloth is a bit washed out.
05/08/2002 09:31:00 AM
Yum, I want one. Nice choice of colors.
05/08/2002 09:05:00 AM
The lighting makes the cookies look distasteful. Also, the shadows are distracting.
05/08/2002 03:54:00 AM
yum. i like this. weird how you have yellow and blue shadows. did u use gels on your lights? straighten the dough so it's parallel with the top of the frame and you have a winner here. maybe use tracing paper or diffsuers so your shadows arent quite as heavy, and maybe a different background too. god job.
05/07/2002 06:36:00 PM
My favorite cookie. Good job. I like the colors. The plate is cut off. Was there a reason for that? :)
05/07/2002 04:02:00 PM
composition need work to be interesting, try shooting from a low angle with cookies in foreground and product package in background at an angle
05/07/2002 01:58:00 PM
Too much glare or too bright?
05/07/2002 08:49:00 AM
Nice, but a but too symmetrical. Perhaps a glass of milk might have rounded this out?
05/06/2002 11:32:00 PM
hmmmmm, dough boy......... The cookies look gooood. My only problem with the pic is the choice of plate, I don't know why but to me the uyellow rim just doesn't look right.
05/06/2002 06:55:00 PM
very vivid colors
05/06/2002 04:05:00 PM
I'd buy that! Yummy!!! Good focusing. The only thing I can nit-pick on this one is that the package of cookies is a little bit tilted on the top, but gets a high score!
05/06/2002 02:50:00 PM
Great idea! The mat (is it a paper towel?) frames the shot nicely. The product looks good, but the color in the cookies is kind of over done. The shadows are really the problem. How did you get a brown/yellow shadow on one side of the subject and a bluish one on the other?
05/06/2002 09:27:00 AM
color of the plate is very cool. compo is nice, but I think cropped too close. The entire plate should show. Also, I'm bothered by the yellowish shadows on the left. Looks like a mix of flourescent / incandescent lighting (sorry if the spelling is off). Also, one cookie should have had a BIG BIG bit taken out.. or.. the picture should have been with one cookie, almost eaten.. and some crumbs.
05/06/2002 09:25:00 AM
as many people are probably mentioning, the plate being cut off detracts from the overall picture.
05/06/2002 07:50:00 AM
Nice shot! however, I don't think I can score this one before i do the taste test :)) nice shot!
05/06/2002 06:56:00 AM
Good Advert! I'm hungry! The plate was a good choice, but the tablecloth "wierded" me out. Photo 9 Advert 9 total 9
05/06/2002 06:01:00 AM
This is nice but the white background is fried under your lights. The blue and yellow almost save it but don't get there.
The photo is clear, I like the simple set up too.
05/06/2002 01:12:00 AM
No milk ? Where's my milk ?!?!?! I think you did a great job. I wouldn't have cut off the bottom of the plate. Maybe have torn a hot cookie in half to see the chocolate melty...but that is sooooo just a idea and nothing taken from your photo:) Nice !
05/06/2002 01:04:00 AM
Nice choice of background, makes the cookies appear very old fashioned. Jjust the way Mom made them...
05/06/2002 11:59:00 AM
I like it. Maybe a glass of milk next to it would have been nice, or one bie out of one cookie, but this really makes ya want some cookies.
