Greetings from the Critique Club };-)
Initial thoughts
Beautiful shot, meets the challenge, may be a touch over exposed.
Composition/ Content
One of my favorites of the week. A nice subtle natural number in High Key. Composition is excellent as the cattails seem to sit just perfectly in the frame. Nice eye to find the number.
Technical
Focus is excellent, especially with the light. The only thing I might have done was boost the contrast a little to make the plants stand out more against the snow.
My Opinion On The Photo
I originally scored this shot a seven which was on the high end of your scores. I think that it meets the challenge well and was probably misunderstood by some of the voters as I feel it should have finished even higher than it did. Good job, and keep up the good work.

| This is brilliant. My only suggestion on this would be to crop it just a little tighter to bring out a little more detail in the subject. This is one of my two highest rated shots for this challenge. Good Luck. |

| I like the high key and the contrast of this photo. The subject of this photo is a little lacking though. I'm not really impressed with the numbers either. |

| I really like this one. The snow is really neat. It makes it look sort of abstract, without really even being so. Good job. (I do wish the quality could have been a little better...the edges are really jagged) |

| Definately natural numbers. It's not too complex or busy. That's a good thing, but it's also not "jump out of my seat" exciting. It does meet the challenge, and it is technically well done. focus and clarity are good, and the angle and framing/cropping you chose for this is also good. it just seems to be missing something. Good luck in the challenge. |

| I can understand your idea here, but it isn't at all clear enough, I feel. Also, it is far too blown out in the highlights for my taste. There seems to be a lot of digital or compression artifacts along the edges as well. (4) |
