Manual exposure for 25 seconds with nd8 filter. Coat was placed over the lens as the model moved from site to site. In PS- Rotated to level the image, converted to duotone, cropped, stretched vertically 5%, added noise, USM, and border.

In my profession, I work with people who grieve almost weekly. This photo evokes the memory of those passed on, including the black/white, old world grainy quality of the photo, which some DPC folks may be tempted to vote down simply due to these photographic qualities which work so well to enhance the photo. 10

Excellent multiple exposure technique. The desat/toning and the film grain adds that extra touch to complete the feel of this shot. 9
