Moved a candle thru a 3 second exposure. Blue light from an LCD monitor, green light from a halloween pumpkin.

PP- Contrast/Brightness adjustments (attempt to remove dust particals withou spot editing- only partially sucessful)

Good technique but why the garden chair? Why not something for which fire might have meant something? Or something beautiful? Anything less mundane would have been better. 6

The loop around the arm of the chair gives a good sense of depth and three-dimensionality. Nice touch.

Nice exposure in all areas. A really effective image.

Can't decide whether the clarity of the hand adds or detracts from this. On reflection, I'm pretty sure the thrust adds.

I think the next time you use this technique, you should choose a more interesting background subject than the garden chair though.
