COMPOSITION
I like how you have composed this shot so that the bridges lead the eyes through the frame, and then rest on teh structure on the right. It is a neat contrast of the bridges.

TECHNIQUE
Your focus does seem to be a bit off. Were you using a tripod? If not, and you don't have one, a lot of times you can get by with using a bag with flour, rice, or something like that in it as a portable bean bag. Put the bag on something, then rest the camera on it. this eliminates any camera/hand shake. Or, since it looks like it was a bright day, I would also try to use a fast shutter speed.

You have some nice colors, but overall teh picture is a little flat. Maybe add some saturation or play with the contrast levels some if you can. That may help bring out the details in your picture. Also, if you have a polarizer, that may have helped your colors have more depth to them.

OVERALL EFFECT
This is a nice picture to look at, and you have met the challenge well.

Best to you in future challenges.

Nice angle, could have been a bit sharper.

Image is a little soft. I don't know if that was intentional.

This would be a much better shot if it were clearer. The composition has some nice elements to it with both bridges side by side. The old bridge is far more interesting. A lot of perspectives are possible for this place that could be very effective in terms of conveying a little message.

Good perspective for contrasting these two bridges. Quite out of focus, however, and may be even more dramatic with more interesting light.

Seems just a little soft on the focus side but I really like the composition and lines. Good luck with the challenge!

Nice shot, but not very clear focus

Nice contrast between the two bridges. Challenge well met (two for the price of one!!) Color seems pretty good. Focus - the cement bridge seems to look much better than the steel one. 5 Swash

Great shot of the two bridges, nice colours too, I like the concrete bases on the old one with the different colours in them, and then of course the stark white/gray of the concrete of the new bridge with the shadows from the older bridge. Nice job.

Bad light selection and poor jpeg quality!

The focus isn't very good. Nice angle on the bridges however.

Detail is ruined by a much too low jpeg quality. This one is 40 out of 150kb, there is a lot of room for better compression (less of it!). It would look less soft, edges sharper and render more detail.
