| Looks quirky and out of place- very cool! Lovely colors. Might there have been more detail available in the "lid" of the hydrant? It seems blown out but I can't be sure. |

| what an interesting composition you've turned in here. that bright red certainly grabs your attention. i hope this isn't getting overlooked in this huge challenge, and that you are getting good feedback. good luck with this, and all the challenges yet to come! |

| Wow nice pic but extremely blurry. I find that this picture says a lot and would have scored a 10 had it not been so blurry. Perhaps change you ISO to 50 in your cameras setting would have helped. Keep up the good work and best of luck in 2005. |

| The hydrant looks so out of place in this photo! It really made me have to look at it twice. I love the fall colors of the leaves. |

| I think this photo shows a really interesting visual parallel between nature and human encroachment upon it. I love the vibrant colors. I might have preferred a deeper DOF, but it's still unique and appealing. <8> |

| Nice colours here, the angle you've chosen is perhaps a little uninteresting, but this is a technically solid image. |
