Very nice but unusual portrait. |

Macaws are lovely birds, but the composition here is less than flattering for the subject! That might have been your intent, but it doesn't pop for me. |

what a great crate image! i hope this doesn't get overlooked, and that you get some good comments and suggestions. i think (and this is just my opinion), that if you had cropped it a bit tighter, it would have been much, much stronger; the really blurry bars are a major distraction. i'm thinking 10% off the bottom, 25% off the top, and 25% off the right. try it, and i think you'll be surprised at just how much more it pops out at you...
good luck in this and all the challenges yet to come! |

Thi sphoto does nothing for me. It looks a little to boring for my tast. It does however have good color and clarity but lacks subject or interest. Keep up the good work and good luck in 2005. |

Maybe a really tight crop around the eye, which is the only interesting thing in the photo. Why include the bars and blurry beak? |

Great perspective here - the darkness on the left is a little offputting, but I like your original approach. |

Great focus...Shame the cage bars detract from the image, especially the ones closest to you. Great eye and depth on the birds face. |
