Thought I would try something new. Architecture doesn't interest me too much and I guess I could have gone to NYC for this challenge but thought I'd try something a little different. I figure I'm sure to be the only log cabin submission.

Post processing was just converting to a sepia style photo in PS, creating a border, and that's it. Nothing else was done. It looks like a lot of burning was done, but that was the natural patterns in the wood already. Don't know how this will do against the beautiful, modern style architecture pics sure ot be in the challenge.

Classy and classic. Beautiful interpretation of architecture.

I'm one of your 10s! I loved the simplicity, of both the photo and the design. We've come a long way :)

Take care,
Katy

This is a very nice architectural detail which does just what a detail should ... it reveals or amplifies something about the character of the building. 7.

This is a very nice image though I´m not sure how well it presents the challenge subject. Well architecture is surly also on microscale and this is a part of a building so you´ve got my credit.

I like your approach. Shows the strength of the wood with light and detail. Processing works really well. Good job.

What a creative depiction of the challenge -- hadn't even thought of that. The snow is such a nice touch too. Good luck. I like this picture a lot.

Nice detail! The snow is a little hot at some spots, but otherwise this is an excellent shot of a very good subject for this challenge.
